Meet the Team

Margaret has had a lifelong passion for dogs, understanding the way they think, and training new behaviors. In 2011 she became a Certified Professional Trainer through National K9 School for Dog Trainers and has been working exclusively with dogs and their owners ever since! She continued her education in Chicago training alongside professionals with 30 years experience, and later relocated to Columbus Ohio to become an Instructor at National K9 School for Dog Trainers. Margaret then opened Purpose Driven K9 in 2015 and has been training dogs in the Indianapolis area ever since. Margaret is passionate about learning new styles and training techniques and has studied with other industry leading professionals around the country such as Chad Mackin (Pack to Basics), Jason Vasconi (Transform my Dog), Heather Back (K9 Lifeline), Jay Jack (GRC Dog Sports) and Mark McCabe (TBTE). Margaret specializes in basic & advanced obedience, leash reactivity, aggression, separation anxiety, pack socialization, and puppy development. Her passion for dogs goes beyond helping families with their dogs. She breeds and raises Goldendoodle puppies as well as competes in Agility with her personal dogs. Margaret is a Professional Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, a Blue Ribbon Member of the Goldendoodle Association of North America, and an associate of Volhard Dog Nutrition.
